The fashion Industry in general is one of the biggest players when it comes to pollution, which makes it even more important to be conscious. We are constantly looking for alternative qualities and techniques which can help us to make our environmental footprint greener and greener.
The question for all of us is what we are really talking of when we mention the world sustainability and what does that mean for our supply chain and our production. We in KT Tanneries are evaluating our raw materials and the partners we work with and are investing in alternative products and raw materials. At the same time, we would like to bring back to people’s mind that leather is a natural product and most of the alternatives have at least a proportion of plastic which makes them durable and resistant to washes.
